Water Quality with Aquatic Insects – Chatham County
March 12, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Bring your boots and join NCWRC educator C.C. King as we explore water quality in the lower Rocky River using bioindicators called macroinvertebrates. Macroinvertebrates are the small insect larvae found in creeks and rivers and are used as food by fish, lures by fisherfolk and are used by scientists to help determine water quality!
Join Chatham County Watershed Protection Department as we get in the river to explore the world of these fascinating creatures.
Register for the program by emailing phillip.cox@chathamcountync.gov or calling 919-542-8268.
