•We wanted to share some of our favorite moments from Creek Week 2023! We had a fantastic water storytime at the East Wake Education Foundation in Wendell, where we learned about lots of different aquatic critters🦗🐢🦆 Do you know someone interested in improving water quality, enjoys working with communities and likes to learn new things? Spring has sprung🌷 and that means spring showers are on the way🌧️ We had a great time at the Neuseway Nature Park in Kinston celebrating Earth Day!🌍 WOW! What a fantastic Creek Week we had this year⬇️ And the winners for the GSI Oh My Scavenger Hunt are........ Sediment pollution impacts the food web! Aquatic and land birds rely on the many insects and animals that live in our waterways🌊 More than 60 species of salamander call North Carolina home🦎
